Paul McCartney expressed his excitement about the project, highlighting the emotional impact of hearing John’s clear voice in the recording. ‘Now and Then’ originated from the late 1970s when Lennon recorded a demo in New York City.
Previous technological limitations had prevented the song's completion, but recent advancements in artificial intelligence allowed for separating and mixing the vocals and instruments to complete the song.
