World´s largest sandcastle
A Dutch creator and 30 sculptors created the largest sandcastle in the world.
The sandcastle was in Blokhus, Denmark, and it was almost 21 meters high. It beat the previous record by more than 3 meters.
The sculptors built a wooden structure, and they put clay on it. When the clay was dry, they put glue on it, and covered the clay with almost 4,500 tons of sand.
On the top of the sandcastle, they put a copy of the coronavirus, and it looked like a crown. The sandcastle also represented Danish culture.
Every year, there is a sandcastle festival in Blokhus, and this year, it will be even more special because people will celebrate their Guinness World Record.
Gold in a tank
A military lover who bought a tank on the internet for ¥4.5 million found ¥305 million worth of gold inside. First, he and his mechanic friend were planning to restore the tank. They were afraid that there were guns inside the fuel tank. However, when they opened it, they found gold bars.
The man called the police. The police took the bars away for investigation and gave him a receipt.
People think that the gold was probably put there by Iraqi soldiers in 1990 after they invaded Kuwait.
A revolutionary chocolate company
A Belgian chocolate company is now using 3D printers to print chocolates. The printers mean that the company can make intricate chocolates. The chocolates are especially for people who want original designs.
The production process is easy - the chocolate is melted before being put into a 3D printer. The whole process takes around 4 minutes from start to finish.
The final chocolates are hard to transport because of the very intricate designs. The main danger is that the chocolate is broken, or the small pieces melt before reaching the customer.
The company hopes to open shops around the world.
